Verbs :: Les Verbes
Here is a chart explaining what endings you need to add on and change when you conjugate a REGULAR verb (n.b. Regular verbs are different from irregular verbs because when you conjugate a REGULAR verb you only have to change the ENDING of the verb. When you conjugate an IRREGULAR verb, you have to change the entire word).
To conjugate a verb, you must follow these very important steps.
1st step: Separate the STEM and the ENDING
ex. Manger (to eat)
Stem = MANG
Ending = ER
2nd step: Get rid of the ENDING
3rd step: Add the appropriate new ENDING to the STEM depending on what your subject is (to do this, follow the chart to match the new verb ending with the appropriate subject/pronoun).
ex. Je MANGe, tu MANGes, il/elle MANGe, etc.
